Corrosion Resistance Test

c

The test described in DIN EN ISO 9227 is a corrosion resistance test. The parts to be tested are placed in a chamber. A sodium chloride solution (50g/L) is used as the test medium. The temperature is adjusted to 35°C. A spray is produced every hour, which can be repeated for any duration between 6 and 1000 hours. This test can provide a reproducible value, from which one can determine the corrosion protection of the coating.
