In this test, it is possible to calculate the friction coefficient between coating and coating or between the coating and the stainless steel surface. A test plate is placed against the test medium, and a defined weight is applied. The Zwick machine pulls the test plate with the weight over the stainless steel plate, which is mounted on a horizontal surface, and determines the static and sliding friction coefficients.
