ILAG GRANISTONE

“Professional work can only succeed together with professional equipment. This includes in particular a highly durable non-stick coating such as ILAG GRANISTONE.”

The perfect coating for high demands

ILAG Granistone is a multilayer, ceramic reinforced, scratch-resistant non-stick coating for demanding home use. The granite effect confers a special styling on the coating.

In addition to excellent performance characteristics, the coating naturally also fulfills the requirements of the « TÜV/LGA »; the result of the test is « GOOD ».

Instructions for use

Remove the packaging and all labels before using for the first time. Clean the objects with liquid detergent and hot water, and lightly oil or grease them.

Never heat up objects when they are empty; overheating must be avoided. A drop of oil can serve as a temperature indicator to detect overheating.

Baking moulds and roaster trays should not be used on the hotplate, but are exclusively intended for use in the oven.

Care instructions

Before using for the first time, clean the objects with liquid detergent and hot water.

The object can later be cleaned with hot water, detergent and a sponge, or with the fine side of a rinsing sponge. A soft rinsing brush can also be used to clean the object.

In general, non-stick coated objects are cleaned in the dishwasher, although this is not recommended. If the object will nevertheless be washed in a dishwasher, we would recommend re-oiling or re-greasing before using it again.

Under no circumstances should the objects be cleaned with the abrasive side of a rinsing sponge or with a metal scouring pad. The non-stick coating will be scratched, and can be destroyed. The non-stick effect reduces considerably in poorly cleaned objects, and the coating will be destroyed.

Long service life

Overheating can lead to discoloration and will destroy the non-stick coating.

All coatings are sensitive to scratches and cuts. Small scratches are visible, but do not lead to deterioration in performance.

You should therefore only use nylon or wooden utensils in order not to damage the surface seal.

The use of small quantities of fat and oil will considerably extend the service life.

Temperature stability

Never heat up an empty pan, in particular with induction hobs. The critical temperatures can be quickly reached. Overheating can lead to the following effects:
- Discoloration
- Reduction of the non-stick effect
- Blistering
- Separation of the coating

The pan can be heated up to 230 °C in long-term use, and up to 250 °C over a short-term (according to the BfR recommendation).
