at this year's Ambiente Messe Frankfurt and the IHA Fair Chicago
The first two exhibitions of the year 2018 with ILAG participation were in the sign of colors. Flowers set the tone at our newly designed booths this year. We were once again able to present innovative developments to our existing customers, interested parties or even daily visitorsk. The visitor’s quality was also very high and met the expectations of our international team at both exhibitions.
High, Higher, HIGH LEVEL -
a must have for PTFE coatings
Last year as a new development at the fair - this year already developed further. By using the special polymer matrix in the top layer, DURIT® Ultimate HL has a much better non-stick effect than comparable conventional systems. And as a two-layer system with layer thicknesses between 35-40 μm, the product is also efficient and easy to process.
HL coatings can do without any ceramic reinforcement in the intermediate layers and, despite everything, offer top performance. Granitec HL, with its smooth, hard surface, convinces with extremely good scratch resistance. Granistone HL impresses with its high-quality hard, rough surface and has a very good abrasion resistance. Say it with flowers - new trend colors full of exoticism and magic
Inspired by the exotic variety of colors, we have developed this year's flowery trend colors. Amaryllis Star Red, Calla Star Night Blue or Iris Star Violet, based on the Pantone® trend color 2018, set the color splash in the kitchen this year. Or should it rather be Hibiscus Star Rose, Lunaria Star Silver or Ginger Star Pink?
With the two- or three-layer ILAG systems, cookware, baking pans and electrical appliances can be excellently applied. Our new segment, colored coatings for kitchen knife blades , is based on a two-layer silicone polyester system. The coatings are dishwasher safe and have been proven to meet international laws and regulations for food contact products. Flowers are the laugh of nature - let yourself be inspired and seduced by ILAG's Trendcolor color bouquet.

In the modern kitchen with its different requirements and demands, pans and pots with ceramic coating are indispensable.Our advanced Xeradur® 2 ceramic coating has received special attention from visitors. We offer the new development as a one or two-layer system. But on both systems we were able to eliminate many typical weak spots of ceramic coatings. Black or White? Plain or metallic? As you like it!
Xera Dur® 2 convinces with outstanding properties, such as the very good abrasion and corrosion resistance. In particular, the improved resistance to cracking during rapid temperature changes is a decisive step to indulge in cooking pleasure with the latest technology in the future as well.
Always one step ahead at the regulatory level
Another innovative solution from ILAG is the Swiss Shield technology, the barrier-optimized coating solution for baking molds in the coil and spray process. The systems are manufactured without any use of BPA-containing raw materials, can also be formulated NMP-free and thus guarantee a perfect result in the migration test.
The test (according to EU 10/2011) is carried out with 3% acetic acid, 3 x 4 hours at 100 ° C. More information about the test process can be found on our info flyer or in a personal conversation with one of our customer service representatives.
Two fairs - the same positive balance
After energetic, enjoyable days the ILAG teams were able to draw a very positive balance at both locations. Our commitment to partnership and innovation is paying off and so we look forward to exciting trade fairs for next year.
