Reach

With Regulation No. 1907/2006 (REACH), chemicals legislation was harmonised at a European level. Within the scope of REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), all substances should be registered and evaluated. If necessary, approvals and the restriction of chemicals may be required.

REACH is a directly applicable law in all EU countries. However, as a company based in Switzerland, ILAG does not fall directly under the legislation of REACH. However, with our high proportion of imports and exports to and from EU countries, compliance with REACH goes without saying for us.

Within the registration evaluation process, substances with specific worrying potential are identified and are designated as SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern). Materials classed as candidates for this classification have already been published by ECHA and their use should be minimised. The current list of SVHC Candidates can be found here.

At ILAG, we strive to find alternatives to substances that have been proposed as SVHC candidates. Substances of very high concern are disclosed ≥ 0.1% content in our safety date sheets.
